Where are you originally from?

I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, but spent the majority of my childhood in Dearborn, Michigan.

Where did you go to college and what did you study?

Interestingly, I didn’t pursue a traditional college path. Instead, I launched my professional dance career immediately after high school. This decision ultimately led me to incredible experiences—such as performing with the iconic Radio City Rockettes, as well as with world-renowned artists like Beyoncé and Pitbull. The journey was unconventional, but it’s been a thrilling and rewarding ride!

Were there any early indicators in your life that hinted that you would lead the life you’re leading now?

I’ve always been someone who embraces the road less traveled, though I never could have predicted that I would one day become the owner of a Skydive Dropzone! I think my adventurous spirit and willingness to seize unique opportunities have always been central to my character. In this case, I owe much of this exciting chapter in my life to my incredibly adventurous husband, whose enthusiasm for skydiving ignited this new passion of mine.

If you had to list five values that your family instilled in you, what would those be and what do you hold to be most important?

My family has instilled in me values such as honesty, hard work, perseverance, gratitude, and respect for others. Of these, hard work stands out as the most crucial. I may not always be the “best” in the room, but I pride myself on being the hardest worker. That tenacity has opened doors and created countless opportunities throughout my life, and it continues to be the cornerstone of my success.

This quote resonates deeply with me, as it reminds me that success is not just about big, bold moments—it’s about the everyday consistency and dedication that make those moments possible.

What do you love the most about owning a dropzone?

After years of curating “once-in-a-lifetime” experiences in various settings, owning a Skydive Dropzone has been an exhilarating new chapter.  At Skydive Snohomish, we create unparalleled, adrenaline-fueled experiences that are truly life-changing. There’s nothing quite like seeing people conquer their fears and check off a major bucket-list item, and being a part of that journey is deeply fulfilling.

What is the most important business lesson you’ve learned in your working career?

The most valuable lesson I’ve learned is the power of adaptability. No two days are ever the same, and whether it’s in dance, business, or life in general, the ability to remain flexible, evolve, and adapt to new challenges is essential for long-term success. Whether it’s adjusting to unexpected circumstances or innovating new solutions, embracing change is key.
