FIRST JUMP - 2022
What advice would you give to someone thinking about jumping for the first time?
Thinking about it (overthinking) and reading the waiver is scarier than doing it and before you know you'll be wanting to jump again.
Get To Know Kiana Johnson
When you were a kid, were there any early activites that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
Not exactly, but I’ve always had an adventurous side and a love for adrenaline, so the idea of skydiving has always fascinated me.
what was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
To keep it short, my step-sister and I share a birthday just one day apart, and interestingly, my step-sister’s boyfriend and my partner also have birthdays one day apart. All of our birthdays fall within the same week. For our 18th birthdays, our parents decided to treat us, by paying for us to do a skydive.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
I haven’t jumped since but I would definitely love to, I think the whole concept is super interesting and I would love to possibly do it on the side as I get older.
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
I have only had 1 and it was for my birthday but even if I’ve had more I think that one would still be number one just because of the people I was with.
If you could jump with anyone in the world, who would you like to jump with and why?
I would jump with Kevin Hart because I think it would be the funniest jump imaginable
